KDE 4.8.0 desktop is truly better than the Unity desktop.

As I wrote in this posting on my main Linux blog, the KDE 4.8.0 desktop is truly an awesome desktop environment to use for your day to day work. The Unity interface, that is attempting to build a poor copy of the Apple Macintosh OSX desktop is only digging a hole for the Ubuntu distribution to lay in. As you can see in this screenshot, the KDE desktop is very configurable, I have set up my desktop to look like Gnome 2. That is what you can do with KDE versus the Unity example. KDE has some awesome themes available and at this link, you may find some of the best.
